Is it Christmas yet?!!! Good Lord, the Osbournes are back, and with a variety show. Starting with a Christmas special this winter, Fox is going to be launching the Osbournes’ latest project. The schematics of the show are still pretty open. There are talks of sketch comedy bits, game show segments, and audience participation among other things. Thematically, several of the segments are to play on sibling rivalries and an irreverent father.

While this sounds like a potentially interesting project, it nonetheless seems a bit like a goofy grab for more spotlight for the aging Osbournes. But maybe that’s just in America. Apparently, they’ve held their own in Britain with Sharon hosting “The X-Factor” and Jack with “Jack Osbourne: Adrenaline Junkie”. Whatever their motives may be, I really, really want to see what happens.
