I heard a rumor about the best Pizza in Phoenix and had to try it out. I don't want to "toot my own horn" but I know Pizza!! My father owned a pizzaria in Long Island, NY and I lived in Manhattan where you can find some of the best pizza in the world...yes the world. So back to the rumor; Pizzaria Bianco might have three hour lines but it is well worth the wait. They have even recieved a shout out on Oprah (yes I like Oprah) for being one of her favorite places to get a great pizza pie. I went on a Wednesday night and after a few hours finally sat down for dinner at 7:00. The atmosphere is very quaint and gives you a real sense of what it could be like to sit down in a pizzaria in Italy. It smells amazing and watching everyone enjoy their food made my anticipation even worse. We ordered a regular margarita pizza and then we ordered heaven on earth...it was called Rosa. It is a thin-crust pizza with Red Onion, Parmigiano Reggiano, Rosemary, and last but not least AZ Pistachios. Never in my wildest dreams would I be clever enough to combine these two ingredients, and now I don't know if I can ever eat a slice of pizza without pistachios on top again. The person responsible for my newest hunger craving is Chris Bianco who has not missed a day since the pizzaria opened and also makes sure that he handles all of the dough to ensure that it is never anything less then perfection. Perfection is what I would call this delicious treat located at 623 E. Adams street in Phoenix. If you have not yet heard of Pizzaria Bianco's...Your Welcome!
