Starbucks or Caribou?

Starbucks or Caribou?

The recent news that nearly 600 Starbucks stores across the nation were closing hit some people hard. I'm sure we all know atleast someone, maybe ourselves, who depend on that double shot espresso or iced grande latte every morning (and sometimes multiple times throughout the day)! As a Minnesota native, I along with other Midwesteners, are wondering if the closing of Starbucks will result in Caribou Coffee opening up on the West Coast. I've always had a preference for Caribou because that's what I grew up with. I never understood the whole Starbucks craze, but I do now. Starbucks are everywhere in Arizona and California. We are constantly bombarded with photos of our favorite celebs holding the signature Starbucks cup and green straw. But why not Caribou? Grocery stores in AZ carry the delicious Caribou Coffee mocha and vanilla latte bars but there is still yet to be a Caribou Coffee store in the West. With drink concoctions like the Turtle Mocha, Mint Condition and Caramel High Rise I don't see how anyone could not want to try something new. Of course my coffee craving kicks in once and awhile and Starbucks does the job but it's just not the same. I think it's time for Caribou to make an appearance in the West and put Starbucks to shame! What do you think? I have to say I would rather drink a Caribou coffee cooler than a Starbuck's frappachino any day.
