Well it looks like the infamous and widely known Nik Richie, ring leader and creater of thedirty.com, can’t hide from the public anymore. Nik Richie, or Hooman Karamian, was forced to come out of hiding after receiving an extreme DUI in January. After months of posting embarrasing and unflattering pictures on thedirty.com, a website dedicated to making fun and shaming college students and drunks in the night-life scene, Karamian is not receiving any sympathy from the public as he progresses through his DUI charges. But that isn’t discouraging him any. Karamian says he was looking for a way to shed his anonomity, and while this wasn’t the way he imagined doing it, he is confident that this will only help lead to the growth of thedirty.com. After Karamian pays over $2,000 dollars in fines and spends four days in Tent city, he plans to give on-camera interviews regarding his website and even star in his own “in the works” reality tv show. Whatever the future holds for thedirty.com, it is apparent that Nik Richie and his dirty army can’t and won’t be stopped.
